Hello readers,
We did it!!! We completed our last day at 8.45pm on Friday 3rd July 09 as planned. When we got to Lands End the place was deserted and I got a puncture in the last 200 yards!.
We were elated and couldn't quite believe it had all gone so well. After 26 days of riding and 1224 miles it seemed strange not to ride the next day.
We spent Saturday exploring the area from our lovely B&B, The Weavers at Trevescan. Today we drove home and now will try to settle back to ordinary life.
We will add more pics later.

  1. Congratulations to you both - I recently discovered your epic ride after a chat with James Broddle who founded the route that I understand you mainly followed during JOGLE.

I rode LEJOG Offroad in 2006, 23 days, and have started a group on Facebook for people who have done the ride or who are thinking about it. To find the group just search LEJOG Offroad within Facebook and you will find us.

    All the best

  2. PS - your last entry states you arrived 3rd June - which seems a bit "back to the future" or should it be the other way round... Ah well, after all that riding I suspect your hands are a bit gnarled and the keyboard a challenge to use ;-)
