June JOGLE

This was Jill last summer, we completed a 300 mile route around Wales to see how we got on with our panniers on the full suspension bikes. They worked very well, but on the odd occassion when we had to climb over big styles or the like. The bags had to be removed. Mind you the only reason we had to go over anything other than a style was because we were lost.

We will be using the panniers in June and camelbacks.

This is a taste of whats to come. We checked out the West Highland Way late last summer. We will spend day 6 going from Fort William along this route, on to Tyndrum.

June JOGLE

Jill has bought us a fab digital camera to record our trip. She had a bracket made to fit the handle bars for it. I am still fine tunning the fitting, and getting to grips with the camera itself.
To help us navigate we have invested in SATMAP 10. I have managed to download the entire route onto the internal memory.
